Our Process

Custom Vehicle Wrap Design

At Vehicle Signage Australia, we deliver high-impact, custom-designed car wraps that transform everyday vehicles into powerful mobile advertising platforms. Our design capabilities range from simple logo placements to full vehicle wraps, using advanced digital tools to create visually striking graphics tailored to each client’s brand identity. Whether we’re working with small businesses or large corporate fleets, we focus on clarity, consistency, and creativity to ensure every design stands out on the road.

Our Process

Every project follows the same five steps, from your first enquiry through to a completed installation and the care that keeps it looking sharp.

Consultation

We start with a conversation about your goals, your audience, and the result you want on the road. We assess the vehicle itself — make, model, panel shapes and the condition of the existing paintwork — then scope the project so you know exactly what is involved before any design work begins.

Design

Our designers develop creative concepts that work with the unique shape and contours of your vehicle, so your message reads clearly from every angle. You will see detailed mock-ups presented on your actual vehicle model, and we revise them with you until the design is right. Full wraps, partial wraps, decals and simple logo placements are all options at this stage.

Production

Once the design is approved we select materials suited to the vehicle and the work it does, then print using premium, UV-resistant media built for durability and weather resistance. Every panel passes through quality control before it leaves us, so colour and finish stay consistent across the whole wrap.

Installation

Our experienced installers apply the wrap with precision and care, working panel by panel for a seamless, bubble-free finish. Most standard wraps take between one and three days, depending on the size of the vehicle and the complexity of the design. Larger fleet jobs take longer, and we schedule them to minimise your downtime.

Aftercare

We hand the vehicle back with clear care instructions: hand washing with a mild detergent, and no harsh chemicals, high-pressure spray near the edges, or automatic car washes with brushes. Looked after well, a professionally installed wrap lasts between five and seven years — and our team is here for support, repairs, or clean removal whenever you are ready to change it.

Process FAQs

Most standard wraps take between 1 to 3 days, depending on the size of the vehicle and the complexity of the design. Larger fleet jobs may take longer but are scheduled to minimise downtime.

No — when applied and removed correctly, wraps actually help protect your original paint from minor scratches, UV exposure, and general wear. It’s important that the paint is in good condition before installation, which is why we assess it during the consultation.

Always. Nothing goes to print until you have seen detailed mock-ups on your vehicle model and approved the final design.

Absolutely. Partial wraps, decals, and graphics are popular options for businesses wanting a professional look without the cost of a full wrap. We will talk through what suits your budget and goals at the consultation stage.

A professionally installed vehicle wrap typically lasts between 5 to 7 years, depending on factors like exposure to sun, weather conditions, and how well it’s maintained. Regular cleaning and proper care can extend its lifespan.

Hand washing with mild detergent is recommended. Avoid harsh chemicals, high-pressure washing near edges, and automatic car washes with brushes, as these can damage the wrap.

Yes, wraps are fully removable. Professional removal ensures no adhesive residue or damage is left behind, returning your vehicle to its original appearance.
