Buses

Buses cover fixed routes in front of the same audiences day after day, which makes them one of the few advertising formats people see repeatedly without going looking for it. We handle large-format signage for public transport operators and for private bus and coach businesses.

Signage options for buses

  • Full and partial wraps — continuous artwork across the body, planned around window and panel lines.
  • Side and rear panel graphics — high-impact placements without committing to the whole vehicle.
  • Fleet identification and livery — operator name, numbering and colours applied consistently across a fleet.
  • Decals and lettering — contact details, safety notices and passenger information.

Technical considerations for large-format

A bus is a long, interrupted surface. Window lines, luggage doors, access hatches, engine bays and body seams all break up the artwork, and anything important that lands on one of them is lost. We work from the vehicle’s actual profile so images are positioned to survive those interruptions and the design still reads as one piece from the far side of the road. Artwork is printed in registered panels and fitted so the joins fall where they are least visible.

Materials and scheduling

Premium 3M and Avery vinyl chosen for Australian sun and weather, typically lasting five to seven years and removing cleanly at the end of a campaign or a contract. A bus takes longer to fit than a car, so we agree the schedule up front and stage the work to keep vehicles in service wherever possible.

Bus and coach signage is large-format work that has to survive window lines, hatches and body seams. Tell us about the vehicle and we will scope what is possible.

Whether it is a single coach or a full livery across a fleet, we plan the artwork to the vehicle profile and agree the schedule up front. Get in touch for a quote.
